About the role
The University of Maryland Eastern Shore is seeking a Cyber Warrior Diversity Program Specialist to lead non‑credit workforce development workshops that prepare students for CompTIA certifications and training in critical infrastructure security.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate continuing‑education workshops and seminars focused on CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+ certification preparation.
- Deliver educational programs covering Industrial Control System (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT) security for critical infrastructure.
- Support students in achieving certification milestones and applying cybersecurity concepts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the program director.
Required profile
- Ability to conduct training sessions and guide learners through certification pathways.
- Commitment to the program’s mission of expanding cybersecurity workforce diversity on the Eastern Shore.
Required skills
- CompTIA A+ certification knowledge
- CompTIA Network+ certification knowledge

What we offer
