Cyber Security Analyst – Purple Team

About the role

Aaratech Inc. is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join its Purple Team. In this hybrid role you will support both offensive and defensive security initiatives, helping to improve the organization’s overall security posture through vulnerability assessments and remediation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability assessments using tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or Rapid7.
• Assess firewall configurations, network security, and Active Directory environments.
• Identify and prioritize vulnerabilities based on the OWASP Top 10 and industry best practices.
• Develop basic Python or PowerShell scripts to aid security assessments and remediation.
• Prepare detailed vulnerability assessment reports with risk‑based recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to track and verify remediation efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in cyber security, network security, infrastructure, or penetration testing.
• Hands‑on experience with vulnerability management tools and network security concepts.
• Knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and Active Directory security.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
