Cyber Security Analyst – Purple Team

About the role

Aaratech Inc. is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join its Purple Team. In this hybrid role you will support both offensive and defensive security initiatives, conduct vulnerability assessments and help prioritize risks to strengthen the organization’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability assessments using tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or Rapid7.
• Evaluate firewall configurations, network security, and Active Directory environments.
• Identify and prioritize vulnerabilities based on the OWASP Top 10 and industry best practices.
• Develop basic Python or PowerShell scripts to aid assessments and remediation.
• Prepare detailed vulnerability assessment reports with risk‑based recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to track and verify remediation efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in cyber security, network security, infrastructure, or penetration testing.
• Hands‑on experience with vulnerability management tools and network security concepts.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and Active Directory security.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 per year, negotiable.
