Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

Our client, a leading global financial services organization, is expanding its Cybersecurity team. The Cyber Security Analyst will focus on security awareness, governance, risk and compliance, working closely with IT, Risk, Legal and business partners to strengthen the firm’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and continuously improve security awareness programs and threat‑informed campaigns.
• Design, execute and analyse phishing simulation exercises.
• Monitor and report on human cyber risk metrics, providing insights to stakeholders.
• Support user access reviews, identity governance activities and service‑account reviews.
• Respond to client cybersecurity questionnaires and assist with customer assurance activities.
• Assist with internal and external audits, including evidence collection and remediation tracking.
• Support technology risk management, policy exceptions and compliance initiatives.
• Partner with IT, Legal, Risk and business teams to promote security best practices.
• Maintain cybersecurity guidance and internal security resources for employees.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security or Governance, Risk & Compliance.
• Proven experience delivering security awareness programs and phishing simulations.
• Understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) principles and access governance.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST and CIS Controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences.
