Cyber Security Analyst – 1-2 Years Experience

About the role

AaraTech Inc is looking for a motivated Cyber Security Analyst with 1–2 years of experience to join its security operations team. The role focuses on monitoring, threat analysis, and incident response within a regulated environment, collaborating closely with IT, engineering, and compliance groups.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and triage security alerts from SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and other tools.
• Investigate potential incidents, document findings, and support containment and remediation.
• Perform log analysis, threat detection, and root‑cause analysis of security events.
• Assist with vulnerability scanning, assessment, and remediation tracking.
• Collaborate on security initiatives with IT Infrastructure, Cloud, Application, and Compliance teams.
• Support access reviews, IAM, and privilege monitoring.
• Help implement and validate security controls aligned with organizational policies.
• Participate in incident response exercises, post‑incident reviews, and audit activities (HIPAA, NIST, ISO, SOC 2, etc.).

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or related analytical roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
