About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) seeks a volunteer faculty member to join its Department of Internal Medicine, Clinical Workgroup (CW) in Palliative Care. This academic appointment focuses on teaching, supervision, and mentorship of health‑professionals in hospice and palliative medicine.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and teach HPM fellows, rotating house staff, and medical students at the VA.
- Participate in curriculum development and delivery for palliative care education.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient‑centered learning experiences.
- Maintain compliance with UAMS vaccination and employment policies.
Required profile
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on day one of employment.
- Full COVID‑19 vaccination or approved exemption.
