CVD Furnace Operator – Machine Furnace Operator

About the role

Join Sandvik Coromant’s manufacturing team in Westminster, SC as a CVD Furnace Operator. You will operate and monitor furnace equipment used in coating production, ensuring product quality, schedule adherence, and a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate furnace equipment according to standard procedures and production requirements.
• Load and unload materials while maintaining proper handling and traceability.
• Monitor furnace temperatures, cycle times, and process parameters to meet specifications.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on furnace equipment.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or process deviations.
• Complete production records, process documentation, and quality checks accurately.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to achieve operational goals.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in a mechanical or industrial environment (preferred).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Ability to work the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:15 PM).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
