Customer Support Technician III - Night Shift

About the role

This position supports customers on a night shift, working directly at the site in a clean‑room environment.

Key responsibilities

• Check and manage part inventory to ensure availability for preventive maintenance (PM) tasks.
• Coordinate part orders and returns, maintaining proper documentation and tracking.
• Adapt to overtime and schedule changes based on customer needs and equipment availability.
• Be present at the customer site and clean room daily to ensure assemblies are ready for PMs.
• Collaborate with managers, leads, and engineers to cover and complete all activities.
• Work with customer technicians and engineers to complete mechanical testing before PMs.
• Operate in a clean‑room environment using necessary tools.
• Assist in planning the daily work schedule to ensure completion of preventive maintenance tasks.
• Plan and execute support activities on a wide range of Applied Materials systems.
• Seek technical assistance when needed to perform daily responsibilities.

Required profile

• Developed proficiency in a range of processes through training and on‑the‑job experience.
• Completes a variety of atypical assignments with limited supervision.
• Acts as an informal resource for less experienced colleagues.
• Demonstrates functional knowledge of analytical processes and basic hand‑tool usage.
• Understands clean‑room environment requirements and proper PPE usage.
