Customer Support Administrator

About the role

The Customer Support Administrator provides comprehensive support to regional sales managers, distributors, and the internal customer support team. This role handles inbound inquiries, prepares quotations, tracks order fulfillment, and ensures accurate invoicing.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to inbound phone calls and e‑mails from distributors and the public.
• Provide quotations, product specifications, stock availability, and order acknowledgements.
• Generate invoices for parts, equipment, and accessories, applying appropriate pricing, discounts, and freight charges.
• Review purchase orders for accuracy before processing.
• Track sales order fulfillment, monitor delivery status, and communicate updates.
• Coordinate consignment inventory processing and invoicing.
• Work with logistics to ensure on‑time shipments and with AR on credit card payments and credit holds.
• Provide freight estimates for quotes and process credits and RMAs.
• Identify and suggest process improvements for order management efficiency.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in customer or sales support within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Effective time‑management and organizational abilities.
