Customer Service Representative / Teller

About the role

This position supports the branch by delivering high‑quality customer service and handling teller transactions. You will act as a trusted point of contact, listening to customer needs and guiding them to appropriate banking solutions while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent, courteous service to all customers and address inquiries promptly.
• Listen to customer needs, ask clarifying questions, and refer them to bankers or business partners for consultative conversations.
• Follow up on customer questions, resolve issues, and keep communication clear and timely.
• Maintain confidentiality of all customer information and adhere to the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
• Perform daily teller and office duties, including cash handling, balancing records, and monitoring outages.
• Stay current on bank policies, retail procedures, and product offerings.
• Handle consumer and business customer problems, escalating complex matters to senior staff as needed.
• Utilize referral tools to track and route customers to appropriate partners.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Comfortable interacting with the public and adhering to dress‑code guidelines.
• Ability to handle cash and perform accurate transaction processing.
• Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and ability to follow established policies and procedures.
