Customer Service Representative – Student Services

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a friendly and organized Customer Service Representative to support the Student Services Section. You will be the first point of contact for students and instructors, providing lodging assistance, answering inquiries, and ensuring a safe campus environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests at the student services desk and issue lodging assignments for dormitory or motel rooms.
• Provide meal tickets and other student accommodations.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to student inquiries promptly.
• Monitor and operate the front‑gate security system electronically.
• Watch radio communications and alarm systems to maintain campus safety.
• Perform general clerical duties to support the Student Services Section.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least two years of experience in a customer‑service environment that required multitasking and positive interaction.
• Alternatively, six months of full‑time experience providing customer support or technical assistance.
