Customer Service Representative – Ground Support

About the role

Sandvik Ground Support is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join its White Pine, TN team. The role supports underground mining operations by managing the full order process and acting as the primary point of contact for sales representatives and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and emails from sales reps and customers, providing technical and commercial support.
• Process sales orders received via phone, email, or other interfaces.
• Gather quotes from production units or external vendors and communicate lead times.
• Open and track quote requests in Salesforce.
• Create and send quotes using Sandvik Operating Systems.
• Convert approved quotes into orders and monitor order status.
• Notify customers of order changes, backlogs, or shipment details.
• Generate freight charge approvals and customer invoices.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external customers.
• Ability to manage multiple inquiries and prioritize tasks.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on meeting commitments.
