Customer Service Representative (CSR)

About the role

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) works on‑site, interacting with customers via phone, email, and face‑to‑face in a showroom environment. The role blends front‑desk assistance, product guidance, and back‑office order processing to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service through phone, email, and in‑person interactions.
• Guide customers through the showroom, retrieve product samples, and assist with product selection.
• Process sales transactions, generate orders, and handle payments.
• Schedule deliveries, create shipping orders, and coordinate logistics.
• Maintain accurate customer records and follow up on quotes and inquiries.
• Monitor stock levels, keep showroom displays tidy, and manage marketing materials.
• Support trade customers by understanding project needs and recommending suitable materials.
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives to keep account and inventory data up to date.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (college coursework preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Strong communication, solution‑oriented attitude, and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, meet goals, and perform quick calculations.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PC navigation in a multi‑window environment.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

What we offer

• Hourly wage ranging from $18.75 to $21.75 (non‑exempt, overtime eligible).
• Full‑time schedule: Mon‑Fri 9 am‑5 pm, plus two Saturdays per month (9 am‑12 pm).
