Customer Service Clerk (Hourly)

About the role

The Customer Service Clerk provides essential administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth departmental operations. This hourly position focuses on processing returns, handling invoices, and delivering high‑quality service to internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Process product returns, credits, debits, and denials while maintaining supporting spreadsheets.
• Sort, match, and distribute daily generated credit memos and related documentation.
• Provide reception support, including phone coverage and guest intake.
• Prepare commercial invoices and export documentation for international orders.
• Mail invoices and statements on a daily basis.
• Maintain physical and virtual files, ensuring they are up‑to‑date and easily accessible.
• Monitor office supply inventory and report shortages.
• Perform data‑entry tasks and occasional customer contact‑center support.
• Assist with other office duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Experience using AS/400 based systems; familiarity with J.D. Edwards is a plus.
• High degree of accuracy with numerical data entry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team‑oriented attitude with reliable attendance.
• Self‑motivated, able to take initiative and work collaboratively.
• Associate’s degree preferred but not required.
