Customer Service Chat Representative – Remote

About the role

Frontdoor is looking for a remote Customer Service Chat Representative to join its Customer Care team. You will be the primary point of contact for homeowners, contractors, and business partners, helping them understand coverage, resolve issues, and ensure a positive service experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers, contractors, and partners via inbound and outbound calls, email, and chat while following all policies and contract terms.
• Explain and uphold contract coverage, providing clear guidance to callers.
• Follow up to guarantee that service issues are fully resolved.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of policies, procedures, and program updates.
• Complete required continuing‑education courses and take on additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
