Customer Service Associate I

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Associate I to join our retail team and ensure every shopper receives a friendly, efficient experience. The role involves direct interaction with customers, handling transactions, and supporting store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with product questions, recommendations, and resolve inquiries.
• Operate assigned cash register, process sales transactions, and maintain cash security.
• Receive and unload merchandise, replenish stock, and keep the sales floor well‑stocked.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including restroom upkeep, floor sweeping/mopping, and trash removal.
• Support a safe, respectful environment through professional interactions with customers and team members.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or customer‑service experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to lift 30‑50 lb and perform frequent walking, standing, and other physical tasks.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Cash register operation.
• Basic point‑of‑sale (POS) system usage.
