Customer Planner Specialist

About the role

Join the US Market Operations team as a Customer Planner Specialist and partner with LEGO’s biggest retail accounts to create data‑driven forecasts that keep bricks moving to fans worldwide. You’ll blend analytics, retail math, and collaboration to shape joint sales, shipment, and inventory plans.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the Collaborative Customer Planning (CCP) process with assigned retailers and Key Account Managers.
• Develop and maintain joint consumer sales, shipment, and inventory forecasts using advanced analytics and statistical modeling.
• Lead alignment meetings, communicate plan rationale, validate retailer input, and negotiate plan updates.
• Synchronize CCP assumptions with LEGO’s US Demand Plan and influence push‑volume target setting.
• Plan push‑volume targets for new product launches, trade promotions, and peak‑season inventory builds.
• Participate in weekly forecast collaboration meetings with Inventory and Demand Planning managers.
• Identify and drive operational improvements to enhance in‑stock, fill‑rate, and excess inventory metrics.

Required profile

• Experience in key account management, demand planning, customer planning, or data analytics.
• Strong ability to generate actionable insights from data and influence strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid understanding of retail financial metrics (COGS, margin, markup).
• Independent problem‑solving, decision‑making, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
