Customer Operations Coordinator, Support

About the role

Canvas Medical is looking for a Customer Operations Coordinator to join its Support team in San Francisco. This entry‑level position focuses on front‑line account operations and ticket triage, helping customers keep their practices running smoothly while building foundational knowledge of the Canvas EMR platform.

Key responsibilities

• Handle account unlocks, staff provisioning, and permission changes for customer organizations.
• Triage incoming tickets from Slack, email, and web forms using established runbooks, categorising and prioritising them.
• Maintain accurate ticket metadata (tags, priority, status) and route complex issues to senior specialists with clear context.
• Develop familiarity with Canvas platform configuration, clinical workflows, FHIR API basics and the plugin SDK.
• Respond to straightforward customer inquiries with clear, empathetic communication and set accurate expectations.

Required profile

• 1+ years in a support, operations, or customer‑facing role, preferably in a technical environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
• Comfort working with ticketing systems and following documented processes.
• Interest in healthcare technology and willingness to rapidly develop domain expertise.
