Customer Intake Manager

About the role

Empower is looking for a detail‑oriented Customer Intake Manager to lead a remote team that verifies and updates new customer account information. This full‑time position supports the company’s mission to empower gig‑economy drivers with accurate data and tools.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and manage a remote intake team through training, mentoring, task delegation, and performance evaluation.
• Set performance expectations, conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and support professional development.
• Continuously improve SOPs, processes, and workflows to increase speed and accuracy.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Verify the accuracy of customer account information and communicate with customers via email and messaging to resolve gaps.
• Collaborate with Empower’s Customer Success and Data Analytics teams.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience, including at least 1 year of management experience.
• College degree.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and energetic problem‑solver.
• Polished written and verbal communication skills.
