Customer Engineer

About the role

As a Customer Engineer at Sapien, you will own the engineering side of customer success, bridging sales, onboarding, and ongoing support. You will build internal tools that accelerate the sales motion and ensure customers derive measurable value from our AI‑driven platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop internal GTM tooling such as demo generators, automated onboarding systems, and dashboards that surface technical blockers for the sales team.
• Set up and configure customer modules, ingest and validate data, and create custom integrations with ERP, CRM, and accounting systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot integrations, handling authentication, data syncing, schema mapping, and edge‑case scenarios.
• Monitor customer performance, debug issues, optimize queries or workflows, and ensure reliable, accurate outcomes.
• Translate recurring customer challenges into reusable platform capabilities, turning one‑off scripts into product features.

Required profile

• Full‑stack engineering experience with a bias toward pragmatic, shipping‑first solutions.
• Comfortable interacting directly with customers, explaining technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ownership mindset focused on customer outcomes rather than just code delivery.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments and devise solutions without detailed specifications.
