Customer Engagement Specialist

About the role

Volcafe Ltd is seeking a Customer Engagement Specialist to support its commercial and sustainability teams across origin and destination markets. The role translates global marketing and sustainability strategies into customer‑focused communications that strengthen relationships, support traders and contribute to the P&L.

Key responsibilities

• Develop customer‑oriented marketing programmes aligned with roasters’ needs, including ready‑to‑sell coffees and traceability initiatives.
• Create high‑quality customer‑facing materials such as website content, presentations, one‑pagers and programme documentation.
• Translate complex sustainability frameworks and specialty coffee narratives into clear customer benefits.
• Design and deliver tailored communication kits for different customer segments, regions and market needs.
• Lead sustainability and impact storytelling by turning data and insights into engaging communications.
• Support the transition to account‑based marketing through CRM implementation and adoption.
• Conduct customer segmentation to enable targeted, personalised communication strategies.
• Manage global customer communication flows across channels, including newsletters and announcements.
• Develop and launch lead‑generation campaigns to support business growth.

Required profile

• Experience in marketing communications and sustainability storytelling.
• Ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling customer messages.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and account‑based marketing approaches.
• Strong collaboration skills to ensure consistent messaging across functions.
