Customer Engagement Representative

About the role

The Customer Engagement Representative supports Pine customers by handling inquiries about equipment rentals, sales of products and services, and order status. This position works closely with the branch manager, sales teams, and other departments to drive branch growth and ensure a positive customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Intake customer inquiries for equipment rental, order status, and general questions.
• Develop and issue quotes, follow up, and record outcomes in the company database.
• Review orders for accuracy of equipment, accessories, quantities, pricing, and contract instructions.
• Assist branch sales and marketing through outbound calls and emails.
• Communicate order confirmations, schedule deliveries and pick‑ups, and update the database with call‑off information.
• Support logistics, locate equipment, and arrange shipping.
• Enter repair orders, set up product replacements, and maintain contract files.
• Process purchase orders, billing/invoicing, and credit‑card transactions as needed.
• Promote health and safety, keep the office organized, and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED or higher.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in environmental, safety, or equipment‑rental settings.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb (assisted or unassisted) and perform sedentary and light‑active tasks.
• Basic understanding of the equipment and its applications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
