About the role

Join the State of Georgia’s workforce as a Custodian at Gwinnett Technical College. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors across the campus.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitized environment throughout Gwinnett Technical College facilities, including classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Clean and care for floors, surfaces, and restrooms according to schedule and standards.
• Stock restrooms and other areas with necessary supplies and ensure proper inventory.
• Complete mandatory Hazardous Materials and Bloodborne & Airborne Pathogen training annually.

Required profile

• Full‑time, non‑exempt position with evening shift (Mon‑Thu 1:30 pm‑10:30 pm, Fri 7 am‑4 pm).
• Any combination of training and experience that provides the needed knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• At least six months of custodial experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow directions, adhere to attendance policies, and work safely.
