Culture & Engagement Specialist (Contract)

About the role

The Culture & Engagement Specialist will join Airbus' Human Resources team to help shape and sustain a vibrant, inclusive culture for roughly 10,000 employees across the United States. Working on‑site in Herndon, VA or Mobile, AL, the specialist will act as a bridge between employees, HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), ensuring governance, budget administration and communication of initiatives.
• Champion ERG programs to expand impact and reach, coordinating with procurement and finance as needed.
• Project‑manage Culture & Engagement initiatives, track quarterly KPIs, develop action plans and align communications with HR communications teams.
• Support deployment, analysis and action‑planning of employee listening tools to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with local site representatives to design and execute regional engagement activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR, employee engagement or related fields.
• Strong project‑management and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Experience managing budgets and coordinating with finance or procurement.
• Commitment to fostering inclusion, belonging and a positive employee experience.
