Critical Care Registered Nurse

About the role

The Critical Care Registered Nurse delivers comprehensive, evidence‑based nursing care to patients in intensive and critical care settings. This position focuses on patient education, self‑management support, and ensuring high satisfaction throughout the care continuum.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on age‑specific needs.
• Coordinate care activities, emphasizing patient education and self‑management.
• Administer medications and perform procedures in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Proficient in written and spoken English as required by 38 U.S.C. 7403(f).
• Graduate of an ACEN‑ or CCNE‑accredited nursing program, or equivalent foreign nursing education with validated equivalency.
• Current, unrestricted registration as a professional nurse in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Eligibility for temporary appointment as a Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) if licensure is pending.
