Creator Growth Marketer

About the role

Citizen is building an army of 1,000 active creators each month who capture and share real‑time footage from their neighborhoods. The Creator Growth Marketer owns this program end‑to‑end, recruiting, paying, managing and scaling the creator network that becomes the eyes of the city.

Key responsibilities

• Build and operate the creator recruitment pipeline, scaling from 50 to 1,000 active creators per month.
• Design and manage creator incentives, including payment structures, milestone rewards, exclusives and partnerships.
• Run the daily creator community on Slack or Discord, handling nightly engagement, content feedback and momentum.
• Source and close media and partnership deals to expand the creator pool (local news, influencers, neighborhood organisations).
• Collaborate with product to define tooling needs and surface friction points into the roadmap.
• Define and track metrics such as creator activation rate, retention, content volume and incident creation lift.

Required profile

• 4+ years running creator programs, influencer networks or community growth at a consumer app or media company.
• Proven experience building a community from scratch.
• Comfortable owning a program that runs nights and weekends.
• Strong sense of video content and what goes viral.
• Experience with incentive design and creator economics.

What we offer

• Base salary $80,000 – $120,000 per year, plus equity.
