Creative Designer, Visual Merchandising

About the role

Sunday Riley is looking for an experienced Creative Designer specializing in Visual Merchandising to shape the brand’s retail presence across the United States. Working remotely, you will translate seasonal concepts and promotional ideas into compelling in‑store graphics, fixtures and experiences that drive shopper engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Design visual‑merchandising collateral for permanent fixtures, seasonal campaigns and promotional displays.
• Create print‑ready artwork that meets retailer specifications and adapts for international markets.
• Develop easy‑to‑shop graphics that enhance the customer journey.
• Collaborate with the Art Director, cross‑functional teams, stores, vendors and field staff from concept through production.
• Maintain the annual VM calendar, manage multiple projects simultaneously and incorporate feedback efficiently.
• Stay current on retail, beauty and design trends to inform creative solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of retail or visual‑merchandising graphic design experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing retail campaigns and point‑of‑sale design.
• Excellent communication, organization and attention to detail.
• Creative problem‑solver who balances innovation with production excellence.
• Collaborative, detail‑oriented and able to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Solid knowledge of print production and mechanical file preparation.
• Familiarity with retail fixtures; experience with AutoCAD or SketchUp is a plus.
• Basic motion‑graphics or AI workflow experience is a plus.
