Craft Recruiter

About the role

R.R. Cassidy is looking for a Craft Recruiter to lead the hiring and onboarding of skilled craft and field personnel across the organization. The role partners closely with operations leaders to ensure workforce needs are met efficiently and in compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle recruiting for craft, field, and operational positions.
• Source candidates via job boards, referrals, networking events, and recruiting fairs.
• Screen applicants, coordinate interviews, and support hiring decisions with operational leaders.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future workforce needs.
• Coordinate onboarding activities, verify employment documentation, and ensure compliance.
• Oversee background checks, drug screens, and employment verifications.
• Maintain applicant tracking system data and recruiting records.
• Track recruiting metrics to aid workforce planning.
• Support job fairs, workforce development programs, and community outreach.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (equivalent experience acceptable).
• 3+ years of experience in recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, or workforce development.
• Experience recruiting for construction, industrial, skilled trades, or field‑based roles preferred.
• Strong understanding of recruiting processes, sourcing strategies, and onboarding practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems.
