Coverage Attorney (Insurance) – Mt. Laurel, NJ

About the role

Marshall Dennehey is seeking a Coverage Attorney to join its Mt. Laurel office (with possible work in Philadelphia). The position blends analytical writing, research, hands‑on litigation, and client interaction, focusing on insurance coverage matters.

Key responsibilities

• Represent insurance companies on a variety of coverage questions.
• File declaratory‑judgment actions and defend coverage and bad‑faith suits.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
• Assist senior attorneys in trial preparation and advocacy.
• Maintain direct communication with clients and provide strategic advice.

Required profile

• Strong analytical thinking and excellent legal writing abilities.
• Interest in both analytical work and trial advocacy.
• Ability to collaborate with experienced shareholders and mentors.
• Dual licensure in PA and NJ preferred but not mandatory.
