Courier / Swing Driver (DOT Certified)

About the role

FedEx is seeking reliable couriers to operate company vehicles and provide courteous, efficient delivery and pickup of packages across the assigned service area. The role involves ensuring shipments meet FedEx service standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Operate FedEx vehicles to deliver and collect packages on assigned routes.
• Verify shipments for compliance with FedEx service features.
• Provide customer service during deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain a neat appearance and adhere to safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Minimum six months of courier experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the service area.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance.
• Valid driver’s license for the assigned vehicle class and a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and speak English to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials.
• Pass a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
