Cost Accountant

About the role
Fresh Mark is seeking a detail‑oriented Cost Accountant to join its accounting/finance team at the Canton facility. You will play a key part in ensuring accurate product costing and supporting month‑end close activities.
Key responsibilities
- Support daily operations within the accounting/finance department.
- Prepare general‑ledger journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
- Execute product costing and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Interface with external auditors during the annual audit.
- Provide assistance during the month‑end close process.
- Perform other accounting duties as required.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
- 2‑3 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Strong planning, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and databases, especially Microsoft Excel.
