Corporate Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Legal Counsel to support a private‑equity backed optometry platform. The role will provide comprehensive legal guidance across healthcare regulation, employment, commercial contracts, corporate transactions and real estate, partnering closely with senior leadership to drive growth while managing risk.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate provider employment agreements.
• Advise on compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Support corporate transactions, restructurings and other strategic initiatives.
• Manage real estate leases, acquisitions and related matters.
• Negotiate commercial and vendor contracts.
• Partner with business leaders on a wide range of legal issues.
• Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
• Contribute to the company’s growth strategy.

Required profile

• J.D. degree and active admission to a U.S. bar.
• Minimum 5 years of legal practice, preferably in a corporate legal department.
• Experience in healthcare law is preferred.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Knowledge of healthcare, corporate and real‑estate law.
• Commercially minded, pragmatic and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, PE‑backed environment.
