Corporate Investigator – Enterprise Protection Program

About the role

The Corporate Investigator is an individual contributor who protects personnel, information and assets by investigating internal theft, fraud, vandalism and policy violations within a high‑tech corporate environment. The role reports to the GI Regional Manager – AMER and works on‑site with occasional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze CCTV footage, access‑control logs and other data sources to identify behaviours, root causes and evidence.
• Prioritise and manage a caseload of multiple investigations, meeting overlapping deadlines.
• Collect, document and preserve evidence (video, images, documents, notes) within the case workflow.
• Conduct interviews of victims, witnesses and persons of interest using established techniques.
• Investigate external threats and internal incidents such as theft of assets or intellectual property.
• Utilise a structured investigative workflow and case‑management system to track progress, analyse trends and mitigate loss.
• Produce clear written and verbal reports, maintaining empathetic communication in stressful situations.
• Participate in training, mentor peers and contribute to case‑management metrics.

Required profile

• Experience conducting investigations in a corporate or security setting.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret video and access‑control data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interview techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to collaborate with regional teams and share knowledge.
