Corporate Investigator – Enterprise Protection Program

About the role

The Corporate Investigator is an individual contributor who protects personnel, information and assets by investigating internal theft, fraud, vandalism and other policy violations in a high‑tech corporate environment. Reporting to the GI Regional Manager – AMER, the role blends technology, analysis, interviewing and assessment techniques to manage a dynamic caseload.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze CCTV footage, access‑control logs and other data sources to identify behaviours, root causes and evidence.
• Prioritise and investigate multiple incidents simultaneously, meeting overlapping deadlines.
• Collect, document and preserve evidence (video, images, documents, notes) within a structured workflow.
• Conduct interviews of victims, witnesses and persons of interest using established techniques.
• Investigate external threats and internal incidents such as theft of assets or intellectual property.
• Utilise a case‑management system to track investigations, analyse trends and recommend loss‑mitigation actions.
• Prepare clear written and verbal reports, maintaining empathetic communication in stressful situations.
• Participate in training, mentor peers and contribute to case‑management metrics.
