Corporate Counsel

About the role

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Corporate Counsel to provide primary legal support for its Canadian beverage business and commercial functions across the U.S. and internationally. The role is hybrid, based in either Frisco, TX or Toronto, Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Support general operations of the Canadian and international beverage businesses.
• Advise internal clients on commercial sales, distribution, contract disputes and other matters.
• Draft, negotiate and review commercial agreements related to procurement, raw materials and indirect items.
• Provide legal support for procurement and strategic manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, including environmental, competition and alcohol regulations.
• Develop cross‑functional relationships and commercial partnerships to advance business objectives.
• Assist the local HR Director with general advice and coordinate with the U.S. employment law team.

Required profile

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution.
• Fluency in French preferred.
• Experience in general corporate law within a corporation, preferably in the food & beverage or pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of Canadian laws and business practices.
• Complex negotiation experience.
• Ability to think quickly, collaborate and work with senior management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
