About the role

Amazon Music is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join its legal team within Amazon Global Media and Entertainment. The role provides strategic legal guidance across regulatory, transactional, and business‑development matters, supporting Amazon Music’s growth in North America and globally.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance on regulatory compliance, especially emerging laws affecting the music and media industry.
• Advise on a variety of transactions and new business initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with business and legal stakeholders across Amazon Global Media and Entertainment.
• Serve as the primary legal support for Amazon Music business units, offering day‑to‑day counsel on a broad range of legal issues.
• Lead strategic projects and develop innovative solutions to novel legal questions.
• Travel as required to support business needs.

Required profile

• 5+ years of post‑bar admission legal experience.
• Juris Doctor degree and membership in at least one state bar.
• Understanding of ethical considerations surrounding AI in legal practice, including confidentiality, accuracy, and bias prevention.
