Corporate Controller

About the role

Henniges Automotive is looking for a seasoned Corporate Controller to lead global accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, shared services, treasury, and tax. This high‑impact leadership position ensures the integrity of financial information and partners with executive leadership to drive performance, profitability, and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Own the global monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close process to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee preparation and review of consolidated financial statements and management reports across all entities.
• Ensure accounting practices comply with local GAAP, IFRS, and company policies.
• Develop and strengthen the internal control environment and coordinate external audit activities.
• Provide leadership for shared services, treasury, and tax functions, maintaining strong controls and alignment with finance objectives.
• Partner with business units on standard costing, inventory accounting, variance analysis, and margin improvement initiatives.
• Support the CFO and senior leadership with forecasting, financial planning, and strategic decisions.
• Coach and develop finance talent, promote continuous improvement, and support system implementations and restructuring projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or global environment.
• Proven ability to lead large finance teams and drive process excellence.

Required skills

• Knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with internal controls and audit coordination.
• Understanding of treasury and tax processes.
• Standard costing and inventory accounting expertise.
• Financial forecasting and variance analysis capabilities.
