Corporate Controller – Global Controllership

About the role

StevenDouglas is recruiting for a Corporate Controller to lead the global controllership function across the U.S., Canada and the UK. Reporting to the CFO, this hands‑on position combines strategic oversight with day‑to‑day execution in a high‑growth, publicly‑traded manufacturing company.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file U.S. GAAP financial statements and SEC reports for a publicly traded company.
• Manage month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes, including financial statement preparation.
• Design, implement and monitor an internal‑controls framework aligned with public‑company best practices.
• Optimize the NetSuite ERP system and drive automation and AI‑enabled efficiencies across accounting workflows.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting regulations and support audit activities.

Required profile

• Active CPA license.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
• Prior experience with SEC reporting and public‑company financial compliance.
• Manufacturing industry background.
• Strong knowledge of technical accounting, internal controls and financial systems.
• Proven ability to thrive in a high‑growth, ambiguous environment.
