Corporate Communications Director

About the role

As Director of Corporate Communications at XBOW, you will own and drive the narrative that positions the company as the defining force in autonomous offensive cybersecurity. You will shape how the world understands our mission, technology, and impact across media, analyst relations, executive thought leadership, and internal communications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate communications strategy that amplifies XBOW’s brand, mission, and market leadership.
• Own media relations end‑to‑end, building relationships with top‑tier technology, security, and business press to secure high‑quality coverage.
• Design and run an analyst‑relations program, including briefings and inquiries, to position XBOW as the category leader.
• Partner with the CEO and executive team to create thought‑leadership content such as bylines, speaking submissions, and public narratives.
• Lead crisis‑communication planning and response, ensuring clear, credible, and rapid messaging.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales to align external messaging with product launches, funding milestones, and key company moments.

Required profile

• 12+ years of corporate B2B SaaS communications experience, preferably in fast‑paced technology or cybersecurity.
• 5+ years of experience communicating with developers, application‑security professionals, or CISOs.
• Established relationships with journalists and editors across major technology and business publications.
• Proven ability to work directly with senior leadership and manage sensitive communications situations.
• Highly organized, self‑directed, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a startup environment.

Required skills

• Advanced daily use of generative AI tools for creating and optimizing communications.
• Experience with bug bounty programs and penetration‑testing workflows.
