Core Production Supervisor – Foundry (3rd Shift)

About the role

The Foundry Core Room Supervisor will oversee the core maker on Laempe equipment, producing all cores used on molding lines. This is a 3rd‑shift position, Monday through Friday with scheduled weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Plan engineering changes for assigned shops and integrate them into production.
• Perform capacity analyses and recommend capital equipment.
• Implement flow manufacturing and lean techniques where appropriate.
• Lead production processes and personnel across shifts during assembly.
• Partner with Production Manager, Planning and Materials to set priorities.
• Direct operations using knowledge of processes, machine capabilities and skilled labor.
• Assist QA and Engineering in testing, troubleshooting and process improvement.
• Meet goals for safety, efficiency, schedule, scrap and rework.
• Supervise set‑up, operation and maintenance of automated machines and machining centers.
• Apply lean tools such as 5S, standardized work and total productive maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1‑3 years of manufacturing experience with multiple machines.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to obtain a tow‑motor license and pass LOTO and confined‑space training.
