About the role

The Coordinator of Academic Area 4 oversees non‑credit, continuing online education programs for a diverse adult audience, including business, industry, government, and professional organizations. This position ensures smooth program delivery, manages partnerships, and supports the growth of LSU’s online learning portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all program logistics: customer service, scheduling, registrations, instructor coordination, course materials, technology tools, and reporting (40%).
• Manage fiscal aspects such as budgeting, salary negotiations, registration fees, and contract execution (20%).
• Implement and promote non‑credit courses and certificates, supporting marketing and enrollment efforts (20%).
• Evaluate program performance, recommend improvements, and assist in course development (15%).
• Perform other duties as assigned (5%).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience without a degree.
• Ability to manage large‑scale projects and multiple stakeholders.
• Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week, including nights and weekends when needed.
