Coordinator for Economic Development Support

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a Coordinator for Economic Development Support to manage training activities, student registration, and budget reconciliation for the Georgia Training Center for Industrial Operations. Reporting to the Vice President for Economic Development, the coordinator will ensure smooth delivery of contract training and continuing‑education programs.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the student registration system: create courses, manage enrollments, process billing and invoicing, and generate completion reports.
• Deliver timely student communications, including class reminders, login credentials, and certificates of completion.
• Set up and maintain course delivery shells within the division’s Learning Management System (LMS).
• Oversee daily reporting of student progress and manage the contract‑training calendar.
• Produce and distribute marketing communications using Constant Contact and other channels.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of divisional budgets and prepare internal and TCSG reporting.
• Handle apprenticeship paperwork, track hours, and issue certificates.
• Manage inventory of training resources and coordinate completion ceremonies.
• Collaborate with the Director of Instructional Operations on student events and with the Vice President on training proposals, client meetings, and visitor events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in training administration, student services, or related support functions.
• Ability to work under general supervision and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Proficiency in using Constant Contact for email marketing.
