Controller – Real Estate

About the role

The Controller – Real Estate will oversee accounting for real‑estate investments and fund financial reporting, including treasury, audit coordination and tax filings. The role works closely with fund operations, third‑party administrators, property managers and investment teams to deliver accurate performance and financial data.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee third‑party fund administrators and service providers, ensuring quality, timely reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as primary contact for accounting matters such as NAV close, allocation, valuation, audit, performance, treasury and financial reporting.
• Coordinate process changes and system initiatives to improve efficiency and data accuracy across the platform.
• Communicate with global team members, internal stakeholders, external parties and clients.
• Support corporate reporting and strategic business initiatives as needed.

Required profile

• CPA certification.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in fund finance, fund operations management, or fund accounting, with significant real‑estate exposure.
• Proven experience managing complex fund operations, including administrator oversight, investor and performance reporting, liquidity and balance‑sheet management, treasury coordination, and controls.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop internal teams.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to align diverse stakeholders.
