Controller – Manufacturing Plant Finance Leader

About the role

This position leads all accounting and financial activities for a manufacturing plant in the Dallas‑Fort Worth Metroplex. Reporting to senior finance leadership, the Controller will own the month‑end close, financial reporting, and revenue recognition while partnering closely with plant operations and corporate finance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for the plant.
• Maintain plant‑level financial reporting, analysis, and operational performance metrics.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Provide oversight of Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting.
• Collaborate with plant operations, executive leadership, and corporate finance teams.
• Drive process improvements, internal controls, and financial visibility.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic business initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Progressive accounting and finance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Recent hands‑on oversight of Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition.
• Proven experience leading month‑end close and plant‑level reporting.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence executive decisions.
