Controller – Management Resources Loan Staff

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our Management Resources Loan Staff team. You will act as the primary Controller for client engagements, taking full ownership of core accounting operations and providing stability during periods of transition, growth, or transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day accounting functions and ensure accurate financial reporting for multiple clients.
• Partner with client leadership to establish strong internal controls and efficient close processes.
• Oversee audits, coordinate with external auditors, and ensure compliance with US GAAP.
• Implement and optimize ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage Intacct) and related financial reporting tools.
• Drive finance‑transformation initiatives, including process improvement, data extraction, analytics, and cost optimization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• 6–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including a Controller or equivalent role.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and statutory reporting requirements.
• Proven experience managing audits and working directly with external auditors.
• Hands‑on expertise with major ERP platforms and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to quickly assess environments, assume ownership, and drive improvements in fast‑paced organizations.
