Controller – Finance Leadership

About the role

The Controller will join the finance leadership team to oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure the integrity of financial reporting for a fast‑growing organization. Working primarily remotely, the role partners with finance, operations and executive leaders while leveraging modern financial systems to improve reporting, scalability and operational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes and prepare financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee journal entries, account reconciliations and general ledger activities.
• Develop and deliver executive reporting packages with meaningful financial analysis.
• Strengthen internal controls, governance and SOX readiness, including documentation and testing.
• Manage day‑to‑day accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation and transformation initiatives across the accounting function.
• Support systems enhancements and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading financial close cycles and preparing U.S. GAAP financial statements.
• Hands‑on experience with internal control frameworks and SOX compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee general ledger, AP and AR operations.
• Track record of driving process improvements and automation in an accounting environment.
• Strong collaboration skills with finance, operations and executive leadership.
