Controller – Finance & Accounting Leader (Remote)

About the role

Quid is looking for an experienced Controller to own the accounting function and strengthen financial planning across the organization. This remote, US‑based role blends traditional controller duties with strategic finance support, allowing you to influence both day‑to‑day financial integrity and long‑term business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations: general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, month‑end close, and financial statement preparation.
• Ensure GAAP compliance, maintain internal controls, and coordinate annual audits.
• Oversee cash management, banking relationships, treasury activities, and tax compliance with external advisors.
• Develop KPI dashboards, management reporting, and support scenario analysis, cash‑flow forecasting, and capital‑investment evaluation.
• Mentor and grow the accounting team while driving process improvements and ERP optimization.
• Partner with executive leadership and FP&A to build annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models for strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including controller or senior accounting leadership roles.
• Proven ability to manage complex accounting functions and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
