Contracts Manager

About the role

The Contracts Manager will join a small, global contracts team within Satair, focusing on the Americas region. Based in Herndon, VA, the role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and occasional travel across the Americas, Europe and other destinations.

Key responsibilities

• Build, draft, negotiate, approve and manage commercial downstream contracts, primarily for Satair’s business in the Americas.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle, including validation, archiving, implementation, amendments, renewals, terminations and dispute handling.
• Harmonize the contracting experience for customers across Airbus and Satair entities.
• Support the contracts team in shaping commercial policies for Satair and Airbus Services.
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual compliance and risk mitigation.
• Assist Airbus Aircraft Sales and Services campaigns with negotiation support on material‑related topics.
• Drive digitalisation of the contracts lifecycle management process within Satair.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or Business with contract‑law coursework (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
• At least 5 years in an international commercial contracting or legal environment.
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
