Contracts Attorney

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Attorney to join a growing consulting organization. The successful candidate will own the day‑to‑day management of agreements, guide documents through review and approval, and help build a more efficient contracting process.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full contract lifecycle for client and service agreements, from intake to final execution.
• Draft, review, and refine statements of work and related commercial documents to align with master agreements.
• Partner with executives and cross‑functional teams to gather details, resolve open items, and keep agreements moving.
• Monitor contract status, maintain organized documentation, and provide visibility into pending actions and deadlines.
• Assess contractual terms for risk, compliance, and business alignment, especially in regulated environments such as healthcare.
• Escalate complex or high‑risk matters to outside counsel or senior legal resources.
• Recommend improvements to contract coordination and approval workflows.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Licensed attorney with at least 5 years of experience handling contracts, drafting, and negotiation.
• Strong background in contract administration, review, and lifecycle management for commercial agreements.
• Proven ability to work independently and drive documents forward with limited supervision.
• Experience reviewing statements of work and aligning them with master service agreements.
• Familiarity with multi‑state contracting considerations and when legal escalation is required.
