Contract Visual Designer

About the role

Lonely Planet is looking for a talented Contract Visual Designer to create compelling static and motion graphics for print, digital, and partnership initiatives. You will work closely with product, editorial, and marketing teams to bring brand‑aligned visual concepts to life.

Key responsibilities

• Design graphics for go‑to‑market, sponsorship, out‑of‑home, and event campaigns.
• Concept and animate motion assets for pitches, live events, and digital campaigns.
• Create high‑impact email templates, social media posts, carousels, and stories.
• Develop client‑facing pitch decks, strategy visuals, and presentation materials.
• Contribute to scalable visual design principles and lightweight brand guidelines.
• Ensure consistency, quality, and a premium aesthetic across all static and motion touchpoints.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional design experience across digital and print media.
• Proven ability to create motion or animated content.
• Strong typographic skills and meticulous visual detail.
